Please note that the social weekend and competition planned for October 2016 will not now take place due to insufficient numbers wishing to attend. However we are pleased to report that the Association is still running two very successful events each year. For the time being the demand and the capacity is not strong enough to try and run a third event. The work we have done preparing for the compettion can be resumed at a later date when the demand is there.
We will now be focusing on the two annual music festivals, but would be delighted to hear from volunteers with ideas for other activities that we could undertake in future.

Association AGM
Saturday 26 September 2015
Our Annual General Meeting took place at Ashbourne Road Church in Derby and was followed by a general meeting to discuss future plans for the Association. The minutes have been posted on our members' page. Please note: it was decided that our 2015 autumn social weekend would be cancelled so efforts can be focused on planning for other future events.

Association plays at Felden Lodge
11 August 2013
The Association was pleased to be invited to provide the music for the Service and garden party of the BB International Global Fellowship on 11 August 2013. It was poignant that this year was the 50th Anniversary and was celebrated at the Headquarters of the Boys' Brigade at Felden Lodge in Hemel Hempstead.
There were many ambassadors from the Brigade family, including the Brigade President, who were entertained by the band. We also performed two especially written pieces for the event.

Two great days of music.
It was another day of musical talent and fellowship at the Soutern Festival in Chandlers Ford. The seventh national BB/GB Music Festival was another fabulous event with 51 entries culminating in a whole day of music from individuals and groups. Support from competitors and the public was brilliant with large numbers of spectators at certain points of the day.
For the second year we have been able to hold a Music Festival in the Midlands. Halesowen Baptist Church at Carters Lane hosted the day-long event. Participants travelled from companies in the South and West as well as from Hull and London. There were 11 different companies with nearly 40 performers including some new participants from four companies that had not competed before.
Great social weekend in Doncaster
Another great weekend of fun and fellowship! Over 40 members ranging from 9 years to maturity attended this annual gathering. This year Doncaster was the chosen destination at Priory Place Methodist Church; home to the 7th Doncaster Company.
